Why did Triceratops have horns? Are there animals alive today that resemble dinosaurs? Come to the zoo and discover tons of amazing facts about our extinct friends. Animals with Pouches
What do a kangaroo, koala, wombat and a Virginia Opossum have in common? If you said they have a pouch you’d be correct! Come on down to Binder Park Zoo to learn more about Marsupials, where they live and what their pouch is for through songs, stories and much more!

Whooo’s Out There?
While you’re sleeping at night, owls take flight! Come to Binder Park Zoo and learn all about owls! We’ll explore how owls play in the dark, what they eat and what they sound like through games, activities, crafts, songs and stories. Some of our Education animals will wake up just to see you too! So don’t sleep on this one, sign up now and meet our owl friends!

Turtle-tastic!
Did you know that some turtles swim while others prefer to stand on dry land? Some eat only plants and others eat almost anything. Come to Binder Park Zoo to discover how amazing turtles are through games, activities, songs and crafts. We’ll even have an up close encounter with some turtle-riffic animals!
