HOME SCHOOL PROGRAMS
**New 2011 Home School Opportunities at Binder Park Zoo**
Home school programs at Binder Park Zoo are now being offered to home school groups. These programs will be geared to enhance science curriculum. The content will be agreed upon by the program scheduler and zoo education staff.
PROGRAM: Two hours in length. Includes live education animals, a possible
outside trek, activity and/or craft.
WHO: Any home school group with a minimum of 12 students (ages 5-16 years). Parents and younger siblings may attend but must pay the program fee.
WHEN: 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm;
Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays;
January 4, 2011 to February 24th, October 11th to December 16th. Programs are only available while the zoo is closed to the public
COST: $25.00 (non-refundable) deposit at the time of scheduling. Program cost is $8.00 for anyone attending the program. This includes adults and children two years or older. One leader will be admitted free.
Total payment is due five business days prior to the date of the program. Payment may be made by check or credit card. There are no refunds unless the zoo cancels the program.
