EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Join us in an exploration of the wonders of wildlife and conservation through interactive age appropriate programming. We are dedicated to creating experiences that foster a sense of wonder, share knowledge, and advocate active involvement with wildlife and wild places. Programs available for groups and individuals ages 18 months and up.
Camps - Experience the WILDEST camps in town! Binder Park Zoo camps offer a fun and educational way to spend those days off of school. Camps are available for children ages 18 months to 17 years old.
Family Overnight Safari - Have a Sleepover at the Zoo! Family Overnight Safari is a fun and unforgettable program for your family.
ZooTeens - Binder Park Zoo offers two Zoo Teen Programs each of which strive to provide our Zoo Teen’s with a fun, educational and worthwhile summer experience at our zoo.
Zoomobile - Let us bring the zoo to you! A variety of programs, including classes, assemblies and senior programs enrich your audience’s knowledge about animals and the environment.
Big Zoo Lesson - Students, parents, and teachers use Binder Park Zoo as their classroom for a week-long, in-depth study of biological sciences as they participate in The BIG Zoo Lesson.
Birthday Parties - Looking for an amazing and unique experience for your child's next birthday party? We’ve got it! Binder Park Zoo offers birthday party packages that are purrfect for children of all ages!
Knee-High Naturalists - Knee High Naturalists is a new program for children ages 1-5 years with one adult. You and your child will learn about nature and animals through fun, hands-on activities.
Twilight Tromps - Have you ever wanted to explore the zoo after the sun goes down? Binder Park Zoo’s exciting new program gives participants a chance to experience the zoo after hours, without the crowds! Winter programs take place November-March, In-season programs take place April-October.

Winter Zoo Snooze - Looking for a fun way to get rid of the winter blues? Bundle up your scout, youth, or school group and come spend the night at Binder Park Zoo!
Badge-in-a-Day - Are you looking for a fun, unique way to help your scouts work towards a badge, achievement, or elective? Binder Park Zoo’s Badge-in-a-Day programs are an exciting way to introduce your scout group to wildlife and conservation while working towards specific requirements. Programs are available for scouts of all ages!

Zookeeper for a Day - So you want to be a zookeeper, huh? Well here is your chance to find out what zookeeping is really about! Join the expert staff at Binder Park Zoo working one on one with a zookeeper for an entire day. Participants must be at least 13 years & older.
