Come have a wild time at Binder Park Zoo and get paid for it!
Imagine working at the only place in town where you can spend your breaks in Africa! Binder Park Zoo accepts applications year-round. Opportunities may include work in our guest services (tickets, food, gift shop & rides), grounds, maintenance, housekeeping, education, animal care, and clerical areas. Most of our hiring is done in March, but you are welcome to submit an application at any time.

General Adult Volunteer Opportunities
If you are at least 18 years of age, like working with people and nature then becoming an adult volunteer at Binder Park Zoo might be just the thing for you. Orientations will be held in the spring. Volunteer application and criminal history background check are required. There is a one-time $45 participation fee. Teens Have a Wild Summer at Binder Park Zoo!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at the Zoo? Join the “Zoo Teens” and experience the Zoo first hand.
Zoo Teens is a program for those 13-17 years of age that would like the unique experience of
working in a variety of Zoo related fields. How would you like to work with a Zookeeper
cleaning, preparing diets, and feeding the animals? Perhaps you would enjoy talking to Zoo
guests about horns, antlers, snake sheds and other bio-facts. You can spend the night at the Zoo
and assist Education staff with overnight programs. Would you like to make a contribution to a research or enrichment project that will benefit the Zoo’s animal collection? Other conservation projects may be available through out the summer. Download a printable application.
