Mission Statement

The Mission of Binder Park Zoo is that people in Michigan will understand, conserve, and empathize with nature, and have a quality outdoor recreation experience. In order to accomplish this mission, the following ends have been defined:

• People in Michigan will have a wholesome, natural, family-oriented recreational experience.
• People in Michigan will have joyful and empathetic connections with animals.
• Animals and their habitats will be conserved.
• People in Michigan will support the conservation of nature and take action to conserve nature.
• People in Michigan will have a deeper understanding of animals and their environment.
