Celebrate Our Nation’s Birthday by ADOPTing Bald Eagle

Battle Creek, MI, June 23, 2006 –Six years after The United States of America declared its independence, committees were still working to establish an emblem for the nation. In 1782, the finalized Great Seal predominately displayed the American bald eagle, making the bald eagle a treasured symbol of patriotism. Binder Park Zoo encourages patriots to proudly support the enduring symbol of the United States by ADOPTing (Animals Depend On People Too) the zoo’s bald eagles.

Add Adventure to Your Fourth of July at Binder Park Zoo

Battle Creek, MI, June 23, 2006 – Don’t let yet another dull barbeque drag down your Fourth of July; add adventure to your celebration by taking your picnic to Binder Park Zoo!

While visiting the Zoo, guests will learn about the life of its summer resident, Crunch. This 150 year old, 165 pound Alligator Snapping Turtle is sure to impress. Crunch and other fascinating turtles are found in the Binda Conservation Discovery Center located inside the Zoo.
