Join the fun and adventure of Discovery Camp. Travel to distant, and not so distant, lands and discover nature’s secrets!  Children ages 5—6 years will get up close and personal with some of Binder Park’s creatures for an entire week. Enjoy a whole heap of fun with crazy games, group activities and crafts. A mid-morning snack will be provided each day.

With all the construction we’re doing around the zoo, come see how the animals do their own construction every day! From tunnels to nests, see some amazing creations. What do they use to make them? What are they building tunnels for? Birds use their beaks to make beautiful nests. Come participate in the Create-Olympics and help make a beaver lodge or a beetle ball. Try your “beak” at creating a nest or a spider web to take home! Be constructive and sign up now for a fun filled week of exploring, getting down and dirty and doing some construction work! (Hard hats not required!).

Grab your detective equipment and head out to Binder Park Zoo. Each day we will have a new mystery animal! Clues will be given out through activities and songs so try and guess the mystery creature before we head out to see the animal of the day. Sign up now for a week of sleuthing…brush up on your detective skills and don’t forget to practice with the magnifying glass and binoculars!
