Safari Birthday Parties 2008
The Safari Birthday package guarantees a hassle-free time for every mom and dad, and a wild time for every guest! From the second you meet your Birthday Keeper the fun never ends! These exclusive parties take place in our Conservation Discovery Center classroom. This package includes many activities, a ride on the Zoo Train, an animal presentation, as well as a fun filled day at the Zoo!

What is the cost for a Safari Birthday party at the zoo?
Deposits: A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is required if registering two weeks prior to party date. Balance is due two weeks prior to party date. All fees are non-refundable
Cost For Party: Parties include 2 host parents, Birthday Child & 10 Birthday Guests
Member Fee $140.00
Additional Children $15.00 (includes hat & train ride)
Additional Adults $7.00 (includes train ride)
Non-Member Fee $215.00
Additional Children $25.00 (includes hat & train ride)
Additional Adults $5.00 (includes train ride)
What if the extra adults are Binder Park Zoo members?
If there are extra adults staying with the birthday party, they should pay the additional adult birthday party fee.

Party Dates: Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 26th – October 13th, 2008

Party Times: Friday 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Saturday – Sunday 10:00am – 12:00pm & 2:00pm – 4:00pm

What does a Safari Birthday party include?
A 2 hour season birthday party includes:
Up to 11 children and 2 adults
An animal presentation
T-shirt for the birthday child
A safari hat for every child
Games and activities for all participants
A Zoo Train ride for everyone
Will there be time during the party to visit the Zoo?
The party is jam packed with games and activities so there will not be time to visit the zoo during the party. However, you are welcome to visit the zoo before or after the birthday party.
How many times can my child ride the Zoo Train?
Everyone in your party will receive one Zoo Train ride at the end of the party.
What types of games and activities do you play?
A zoo interpreter will contact you one week prior to your child’s party and ask questions pertaining to your child’s likes and dislikes. These likes and dislikes will be giving to the Birthday Keeper, so they may create a party based on your child’s likes by using age appropriate games and activities that will include all the children attending.
What if we have less children and more adults?
The price of the party will not change as long as you have 12 people attending your child’s party. Any extra adults or children beyond 12 people will be charged regular member or non-member program rate.

May we bring our own cake and ice cream?
No food or beverage may be brought into the Zoo. However you may choose to have your own cake and ice cream and serve it to your guests before or after your party at your house.
May we add on lunch for the children?
Lunches may be purchased through our zoo restaurants. A youth lunch form must be sent in and completed one week prior to the party date. This form will be sent upon request with your party information after your registration has been received.
What comes in the party favor bags?
Safari Party Bags include 7 items: (items subject to change without notice)
A pair of binoculars, animal print fan, a vinyl animal, an animal print slap bracelet, an animal print stationary set, a BPZ tattoo, and a Wild Africa poster.
Creepy Crawlies Party Bags include 7 items: (items subject to change without notice)
Bug in goop, a wiggle snake, a vinyl insect, a fling frog, a sticky lizard, a BPZ tattoo, and a swamp poster.
