Digital Travel Card FAQs

 

How do I use the Digital Travel Card?
When you visit reciprocal zoo and aquariums, simply open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, tec.) and visit www.binderparkzoo.org/travelcard. Enter your member ID (also known as your member number). Your member ID appears on the member card you received when you joined Binder Park Zoo. Next, enter your zip code, which will match the zipcode on your membership. Once you have entered in the information, your name and membership level and additional member information will appear.

How do I look up my member ID?
Your member ID is just another name for your member number which appears under the barcode on your membership card.

I've tried entering my Member ID and ZIP code, but the website doesn’t recognize me. What do I do?

We may not have your most current contact information on file. Please call Member Services at (269) 979-1351 for assistance.

What are the technical requirements?
The website will work on any computer or device with a web browser.

Will the website update when I renew my membership?
New membership and renewal purchases made at the Zoo and online will take 10-14 days to be updated to the website. Your member ID is located on the back of the member card you were issued under the barcode. Memberships purchased online or over the phone will receive your regular member card in the mail within 2-3 weeks of signing up, but if you’d like to use the Digital Travel Card sooner, please call Member Services at (269) 979-1351 and they will determine if your member ID has been assigned.

What if I have a joint membership?
The Digital Travel Card recognizes that you have a joint membership and will list both the primary and second adult named on the card.

How many guests can I bring with the Digital Travel Card?
The Digital Travel Card allows the same benefits as your regular member card. For example, if you have a Family +1 membership, the Digital Travel Card will allow entry for the adults and children on your card and one guest. As always, the member must be present for guests to receive admission.

I just joined for the first time. How long will it be before I receive my member ID?

At this time, the Digital Travel Card’s sole purpose is to relieve your wallet of an additional card and allow for easy access to reciprocal zoos and aquariums. To renew your membership or update contact information, please call Member Services at (269) 979-1351, visit www.binderparkzoo.org/membership or stop by the Zoo office for assistance.
